Payton knows exactly what he is going to do as far as QBs. Here's the thing. Nix is his pick. Wilson was also brought here by Payton, so he does own him as well. Stidham in Payton's world is an afterthought, backup QB, but he has a year in the system...could be helpful for Nix. So, the question is, why bring Wilson here if you're not going to use him at all? If you place him on the practice squad, a QB needy team in search of a backup will probably sign him. Somehow, Payton will keep Wilson on the roster, even if it means keeping 3 QBs; otherwise, why bring him here?

Zach is fortunate to land in Denver with Coach Peyton. HC Salah with the Jets spent all of his time drooling over Defensive Lineman, and paid no attention to the offensive side of the ball. Salah should have manned up and moved beyond his limited comfort zone to actively participate from DAY 1 of Zach's arrival in his ongoing development, and that of the entire offense. Instead of mastering the Offense, he trotted out cliches, that quickly became as tired as his dreary delegation of offensive responsibilities. Zach is a talented, intelligent, classy player who will prosper in this healthy environment.
